Media:

In Buddhism, there is precept (guideline for living) of not taking what is not freely given. I have tried my best to get permission for images, words etc. that appear on the website. If I have used either your image or words on this website and you feel the slightest unease with anything I have posted here, I will gladly remove it, or adjust it. Likewise, if you'd like to use anything you see on this website, I'd appreciate it if you asked me for permission.

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

Please take care of yourself during practice. Be aware and accept your limitations of this moment. Adjust the movement, pause or sit down when you need. Never go to the point of pain. Qigong is all about ease and feeling better, and has nothing to do with pushing through pain. Please express your concerns to me before, during or after class. Even though Qigong is a mild form of exercise, it can have a powerful effect on the body, heart and mind. Please consult with your doctor if you have health issues.

Acknowledgements:

Many of the photographs were taken by Liam Keating. A huge thank you for sharing your talents, seeing the beauty of the moment, and being such a great support to me when I was starting out. Thank you too for suggesting the name of peacefulqigong.

Also much gratitude to Matt Fluty of Aikido Center Sacramento, one of my sensei for the past decade, who has supported and encouraged me to share Qigong while teaching aikido classes, and generously given me a "place" to begin my development as a Qigong teacher.
